Artist info: this is Helmut Andreas Paul Grieshaber, German graphic artist and painter. Graphic artist and painter (1909 Rot an der Rot to 1981 Eningen unter Achalm), studied at the Reutlingen School of Arts and Crafts, 1926-27 typesetting apprenticeship in Reutlingen and parallel calligraphy studies in Stuttgart until 1928, 1928-31 study visits to London and Paris, followed by study trips to Egypt and Greece, 1933-45 banned from his profession, 1951-53 teacher at the Bernsteinschule near Sulz am Neckar, 1955-60 professor and successor to Erich Heckel at the Karlsruhe Academy, received numerous prizes and honours, participated in documenten 1, 2 and 3, active in Eningen unter Achalm and Reutlingen, source: Wikipedia, Vollmer and Internet.
