ARMSTRONG LOUIS: (1901-1971) American jazz trumpeter and vocalist. A good vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph, the unusual promotional image depicting Armstrong seated in a three-quarter length pose playing his trumpet, surrounded by various barrels, wicker baskets and an oil lamp. Signed by Armstrong in green fountain pen ink to a lighter area of the image. With a very feint Metrophone stamp to the lower white border. A couple of minor corner creases, otherwise VG
