Settling in Port-aux-Prince in 1973, he developed his inimitable style of lush vegetation, waterfalls and pink flamingos. His unique style has won him international recognition, with representations in the United States, France, Italy and Switzerland, as well as the Ispan-UNESCO prize in 1981.
