A plug-in bayonet dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Europa, Triangular blade from an English small sword marked "Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense" under a sun and between floral motifs on both sides. Brass hilt, S-shaped shell-guard and quillon engraved with floral motifs. Typical horn grip (missing parts) with brass cap. Wooden scabbard with remains of covering, the cap is missing.
