SADAMASA: A FINE NETSUKE-OKIMONO OF AN ARCHER INSPECTING HIS ARROWS By Sadamasa, signed Sadamasa Japan, late 19th century, Meiji period (1868-1912) Finely carved, the small figure sitting on a reed mat next to a stand filled with arrows. The archer holds an arrow above his utsubo (quiver), inspecting the fletching and shaft, wearing a nae-eboshi hat and a kimono etched with floral medallions. Signed to the base of his robe SADAMASA. HEIGHT 4.8 cm Condition: Very good condition with only minor wear. Provenance: From a private estate in the UK. Galerie Zacke, Vienna, 29 November 2019, lot 118.
