It stands on a blue enameled openwork base decorated with a chinoiserie-style frieze (two tusks reattached). H. 43 cm, L. 32 cm Designed by Ulysse Bertrand and adopted by Gien. This model of elephant clock was presented at the 1867 Universal Exhibition.
