Two four-case black-ground inrô Japan. 18th/19th c. 8,4 x 7,1 cm und 7,5 x 5,1 cm a) Decorated in gold-takamaki-e and inlay of carved mother-of-pearl with peony blossoms, branches and a butterfly; b) Decorated in gold takamaki-e with red lacquer, kirikane and gold foil with a long-tailed bird on a tree trunk and plum blossom branches. Small glass ojime. From a South German private collection, assembled by several generations in the family since 1912 - Traces of use
