STANDING VISHNU
Bronze India 17th century Dimensions: Height 14 cm Wide 6,5 cm Depth 4 cm with base Weight: 408 grams with base Vishnu standing on a thin, round surface attached to a plinth with a rod. He is wearing a striped dhoti with pattern lost to some rub off. The Protector of Good has four arms, two forming mudras in front, two at the back are raised with his hands holding a weapon discus and a conch shell. The chest is adorned with a broad necklace, his head bears distinct features with awake eyes. A winged high conical crown on his head.
