Rare collective edition, of the utmost rarity according to the Dorbon catalog, corrected and published by Friedricus Bitiskiuset, with numerous talismanic figures on wood illustrating the seven books of the Archidoxe magique. Volume I contains Paracelsus' medical works, Volume II his magical, philosophical, astronomical and alchemical works, and Volume III his treatises on surgery and anatomy. Following the last volume is an 18-page supplement containing a vocabulary of terms used by Paracelsus in his works, his will, etc. This copy does not include the portrait of Paracelsus. This copy does not include the author's portrait, which is not always present. Text on two columns. Fine period full-leather bindings, 6-rib spines with richly ornamented boxes, red morocco title-pieces. Second volume with split first spine, a few minor defects and rubs, well preserved.
