Beschreibung

Arno Boueilh La Pagoda - Posillipo Tempera on wood cm 37x30 - Arnaud Boueilh in art "Arno Boueilh" and a French painter inspired by Naples. He paints "sur le motif" views today. He was born in Paris in 1977 and grew up in the neighborhood of Montparnasse. His father, an architect, gave him a passion for drawing and architecture. His encounter with the painter Pierre Gilou was decisive. It will be he who will allow him to pass from drawing to painting, transmitting him the technique, the profession of the painter and a certain way of « watching ». After finishing his studies in Art, Arno decided to dedicate himself completely to painting. After many, and increasingly frequent, stays in Italy, he decided to move to Naples. The representation of architecture and urban and through it the relationship past/ present and nature/ culture are at the center of his concerns. He mainly paints "sur le motif", in order to better identify the subject, the true colors, and above all to immerse himself better in it, trying to sublimate and strip it of all the superfluous.
