Meissen small picture plate "Frühling" underglaze blue pommel mark 1860-1924, painted twice, oval porcelain plate with fine polychrome painting, depicting a swaying boy with a cuddly girl in a translucent robe, detail after a painting by Pierre Auguste Cot (1837 Bédarieux to 1883 Paris), in a wide Florentine frame, small firing crack to the reverse and motif minimally rubbed, otherwise in good condition for its age, l plate approx. 8.5 cm, L frame 19 cm.
