Wanduhr (Comtoise) France, c. 1870. On the enamel dial marked: J. Perrot à Corbelin. Front brass plate stamped, gilded. The dial is framed by a high oval plate filled with plastic vines and bound sheaves of grain. The showpiece pendulum on two-piece iron sheet brass gilded with rich decoration of bound sheaf of grain, vines and flowers. Dial with Roman numerals, brass hands. Two iron weights. Anchor escapement, rake striking movement for full and half hours on bell, verge. Key missing. Pull ropes have been renewed. H 158 cm. Very nice condition.
