DISTRICT 13 INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR | 3rd EDITION

Since 2018, Groupe Drouot has joined forces with the organisers of District 13 Art Fair to offer a unique meeting place in the urban art world. For four days, from 13 to 16 January, all art connoisseurs, are invited  to discover and let themselves be persuaded by a work, a sculpture, a concept, an encounter... The ambition of this fair is, more than ever today, to bring together - physically - the most emblematic artists and  works of this contemporary movement.

2022 will mark the third edition of the fair, interrupted in 2020 and 2021 by the health crisis. And if these constraints are still relevant and international galleries will return for the next editions, District 13 Art Fair will welcome in January 12 new exhibitors. The discoveries will be numerous: art embroidery, old master paintings transformed by aerosols, reused objects of all kinds, created by a multitude of artists, both in vogue and emerging, and representing both the French and international scenes.

The fair will also be an opportunity to learn and to be surprised. Numerous events are set to punctuate the fair: conferences led by artists, video projections, workshops for very young collectors (-12 years old) and performances by artists such as Kouka, Tanc, Motte and others. The proximity between artists and the public, which has reigned since the first edition of District 13 and which is valued by the gallery owners, is part of the fair’s DNA. 

On Sunday 16^th, to establish a bridge between the first and second markets, the traditional auction will take place under the hammer of the Group’s auction house, Drouot Estimations. Around thirty works will be offered, but this time by raising a hand.
