DELON-HŒBANX - €90,000 for a collection of micro-mosaics

A collection of 8 micro-mosaics was successfully sold on Friday 8 June by auction house Delon-Hœbanx. Together it totalled €90,000 (including premium; lots n° 229-236), doubling its high estimate. The highest bid reached €30,600 (including premium; lot n°236) for a 5,4 x 7,5 cm work of art executed by AGUATTI circa 1780-1790. The artist was one of the most famous professors of micro-mosaics at the Vatican Roman studios.
