The auction’s top lot, a rare award from the Order of the White Eagle, attracted many bidders and finally selling for €1,113,000 (incl. premium). Standing as one of the most prestigious award, the insignia of the Order of the White Eagle executed in gold, silver-gold, diamonds and rubies, along with its silver-gold, diamonds and enamel plaque was intended to distinguish foreigners and was attributed upon the Emperor’s own decision. These two 1913 jewels belonged to French General Albert d’AMADE (1856-1941).
