DIGARD AUCTION is delighted to announce the upcoming sale « Collection of a couple of connoisseurs ». After the collections of Maurice Chevalier, Pierre and Jojo Restany’s new realism collection, the Montand Signoret historical sale, the collection of a contemporary art connoisseur resulting with a 100% of sold lots in October, it is now the turn of a passionate couple to take us through a collection representing a lifetime dedicated to representational art.
Important works by Peter Saul, Télémaque, Monory, Schlosser, Rancillac, Erro, Cueco, or Segui. A major work by Alfred Courmes. A nice glimpse at « Free figuration » with Kriki and Combas. Also, other contemporary artists, a couple of them unprecedented at auction but famous among galleries and institutions: Zonder, Mireille Blanc, Bernard Pras, Bachelot-Caron...
