LECLERE-MDV – A Guimard-Lachenal vase joins the collections of the Petit Palais

The Petit Palais added a new piece to its collection when pre-empting a rare vase by Hector GUIMARD (1867-1942) executed in collaboration with ceramist Édouard LACHENAL (1855-1948) for €11,050 (incl. premium). This piece was offered by auction house Leclere-Mdv, in a sale dedicated to Art Nouveau. (Lot n°91)
Only two other models by the artists are referenced today. The first one is kept at the Bröhan-Museum in Berlin and the other one is in a private collection, being the only bi-colour vase.
