Russia Soldier's Cross of St. George 19 - th Century Barac# 265; Silver 46 x 39,4 mm; Not original ribbon; the carrier number "3 553" embossed on the cross arms. Borodino from September 7, 1812, it was awarded to all 4,264 Prussian veterans of the battles between 1813 and 1815 who are still alive, 1,765 copies were returned and destroyed after the death of the respective owner, there is usually an "N" on the left arm of the cross, the Digits of the carrier number are on the right cross arm, but in the higher numbers the number is occasionally also divided. A comparable example in a similar condition with the carrier number "1135" see Künker Osnabrück, auction October 12, 2018, lot 125 (hammer price € 4,100.- ); Condition-I (KW1213)
