With 2 col. wood engraved frontispieces, 50 coloured and 2 uncolor. steel engravings and numerous wood engraved vignettes by N. Maubert after Grandville. Cont. red half leather with gilt title and gilt decoration on spine, gilt edges and marbled endpapers (slightly rubbed and spotted). - Probably the most beautiful work of Grandville in luminous coloration and partly heightened with egg white. - Somewhat browned and partly spotted.
