Kunden konnten aus dieser Liste 20 Photographien auswählen, welche dann in das Album gebunden werden sollten. - Gezeigt wird: Lake Rotoroa, Matakitaki Ebene, Lake Daniel im oberen Maruia, Lake Rotoiti, u.a., viele der Photographien zeigen auch einen oder mehrere Männer, sitzend, stehend oder manchmal liegend. - Papierbedingt gebräunt u. etw. stockfleckig, die Photographien nur vereinzelt betroffen, die Karton tls. mit hs. Anmerkungen alter Hand. Insgesamt gut erhalten sowie selten. With 20 original photographs. Each albumen print mounted on bound in firm card. Orig. cloth with gilt title on cover, gilt edges on three sides and moiré endpapers (rubbed, scuffed and bumped, somewhat stained). - With a short introduction and 2 p. listed short description of the publisher with 26 numbers. Customers could select 20 photographs from this list, which were then to be bound into the album. - Paper browned and somewhat foxed, the photographs only occasionally affected, the cardboard partly with annotations by old hand. France - Collection of two large format aquatint etchings with views of Paris. Each on vélin with watermark "1801 J Whatman". Each mounted in spots under passepartout. - 3rd state (of 3) with the aquatint revision. Inscribed on the left below the image: "Drawn & Etch'd by Tho.s Girtin", on the lower right: "Aquatinted by F. C. Lewis". In the publisher's address with the date. - Contains: see above. From the volume "A selection of twenty of the most picturesque views in Paris, and its environs" published by Girtin in London in 1803. - Light margins under the passepartout. Sheet Pont Neuf with recto not visible folding in upper white margin. Very few spots with brownish stains. Overall in good condition.
