Carriage clock case in sterling silver, decorated with vegetal motifs and genre scenes, resting on four leaf-shaped feet. Dial in green guilloché enamel with floral perimeter decorations, Roman numerals and golden hour markers. Fully hallmarked London 1898-1899, silversmith William Comyns & Sons. William Comyns & Sons Ltd, founded by William Comyns in 1859 in London, was a renowned British silverware company with a long history of excellence in the design and production of high-quality silver items. Richard Comyns, one of William's sons, was a key figure in the management and development of the company. Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
