Beige half-moon dial with Arabic numerals and luminous hour markers, featuring the inscriptions "Mappin & Webb - 1 rue de la paix - 8 days - 8 Days". Hallmarked with silver marks for a minimum fineness of 800/1000, used in France since 1838 and unidentified casemaker "A C". On the back, "1770 - Déposé - Métal doré". Mappin & Webb was founded in 1775 in Sheffield, England. Renowned for its fine silverware and luxury jewelry, the brand has a long history of craftsmanship and elegance. Mappin & Webb holds royal warrants and has served the British monarchy for generations. Item condition grading: **** good.
