Llimós became known in 1964, with a joint exhibition with, among others, Arranz Bravo, Bartolozzi and Gerard Sala, with whom he worked as a team until 1969. His work, with an expressive and intense stroke, oscillates between figuration and symbolic abstraction, with a strong attraction for the animal world, often the subject of his work, as can be seen in the painting we now present.
