FRITZ NETH (Stuttgart, Germany, 1932- Tübingen, 2004). Pair of chairs, 1950s. Teak wood and gray upholstery. Measurements: 72 x 63 x 62 cm; 42 cm (seat height). Pair of German armchairs from the 50's raised on bambi type legs, very characteristic of mid century design. The ergonomic seat adapts to the user's body. It is a luxurious and elegant design that made enthusiastic use of the latest technology of the time. They feature high quality craftsmanship, combined with flexibility and comfort. Neth was a German furniture designer, born in 1932, best known for his work with the design firm Correcta. Neth was part of a generation of designers who helped shape the modernist movement in postwar Germany. His designs were characterized by clean lines, attention to detail and a focus on the user experience. He believed in creating furniture that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical and durable.
