The lower part of the statue is dark, in a colour tending towards grey-black (this could be reminiscent of the sea and its waves), on top of which the two main characters of the sculpture rest.They represent a Confucian sage with a woman, smaller than him. The figures are adorned with white waves, which seem to symbolise water. In addition, different animals are depicted: a crocodile, a peacock and a monkey.
