Elgin National Watch Company, commonly known as Elgin, was a significant American watchmaker active from 1864 to 1968. Founded in Elgin, Illinois, the company was renowned for producing high-quality watches, including pocket watches, wristwatches, and table clocks. Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; minor defects in the enameling. The watch movement requires a technical service and the glass is missing.
