CHAGALL, Marc (1887-1985). La Perdrix et Les Coqs. Paris: Vollard - Teriade, 1927-52. One of 100 signed copies printed on Montval paper (in addition to the 200 on Rives paper). The work was originally commissioned by Ambroise Vollard but due to his untimely death remained unfinished and was completed and published by Teriade in Paris in 1952. Lithograph, (420 x 330mm). Printed on Montval paper and signed by the author in pencil, numbered 94 and titled in the margin in pencil (foxing). (1)
