Interesting pocket atlas with fine watercoloured maps engraved by Tobias Lobeck from drawings by Lotter, with frontispiece and title page designed by Eichler. Oblong 12mo, (105 x 145 mm). Frontispiece, engraved title-page, 29 engraved plates, leaf with index of plates, 6 additional plates relating to German principalities also edited by Lobeck, in total 35 plates. Contemporary full calf binding with embossed vignettes, marbled endpapers (some wear).Provenance: Ex libris Horace Landau (probably a forgery); 20th century dealer's card. (1)
