Engraved title-page, vignette to title, 5 maps, 2 of which folding, numerous engraved plans and views as headpieces and tailpieces drawn by Cruce, Choffard and Haussard (small wormhole to upper margin running from title-page onward, touching a few letters, occasional spotting and browning). Full calf binding, spine gilt, title gilt to spine, red edges (some wear). Provenance: ''Jean Trabaud Hydrographe a Marseille'. Contemporary engraved trade card illustrated with scientific instruments applied to the endpapers. (1)
