[MISCELLANEOUS ATLAS]. Paris: 1703-1767. Composite atlas focusing on the European landscape with maps published in Paris in the 18th century by various geographers including De L'isle, Sanson, Janvier and Bonne. Folio, (555 x 385mm). 34 maps with watercoloured outlines with legend markers applied to the margin: 1 armillary sphere, 1 globe, 4 maps of the continents, 16 maps relating to Europe, 5 maps relating to Italy and 7 relating to the ancient world (sporadic light foxing and a few spots mainly outside the engraving). Contemporary half vellum binding (some wear and chipping). List of maps available on request. (1)

Stand clock, Mahogany wooden body and Baroque mahogany feather with bronze leaf and rocaille finishes. Mechanism with wire suspension and pendulum regulator, chime with bronze bell. Glass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals on a white background, with two holes for winding the hours and the chime and perforated bronze hands. Machine signed Paris on the back. Conditions: one broken hand, horizontal crack on the dial, missing pendulum, untested machine.
