The work focuses on the structures of the different parts of the human body in relation to the organs of animals and plants and aims to clarify Mascagni's view of the vascular nature of organ structure with the help of 20 beautifully engraved plates with numerous figures. Folio, atlas (540 x 380mm), text (470 x 330mm). Title-page and 20 lithographic plates, uncut (foxed).
