Lot of two incomplete copies of Petrarch's work. 4to, (213 x150mm). Text with marginal commentary (missing f. a2 with privilege, title-page with reintegrated loss to upper corner, quire B bound after C, a few sporadic marginal stains and tears). Contemporary binding with botanical medallion in the centre with the title of the work to upper board and a cupid to lower board, boards within geometric border, darkened edges (restored with marginal reparations, spine completely rebuilt, modern endpapers) [IN LOT WITH:] Petrarca con l'espositione di m. Alessandro Velutello. Venice, Bertano, 1573. 4to (200 x 145) Title page within engraved border, engraved headpieces and initials (quire O missing, some minor restoration and integrations, upper corners slightly rounded).
