A list of food provisions issued by the government of the district of Brescia, revealing a complex and advanced system legislation, this copy formerly owned by a tavern in Salò. These rules regulated all food-related categories, from taverns and taverns to fruit vendors, luganegri (salami producers), bird catchers, porcari (pig farmers) and others. A precious record of food culture in Lombardy at the end of the 18th century. Large 4to, (295 x 220mm). Arms of Brescia to title page and colophon (sporadic light spotting.
