A fine Art Nouveau sculpture of the author of the Divine Comedy by Fortunato Gori, a pupil of Augusto Rivalta and the Parisian sculptor Victorien-Antoine Bastet, famous for his chryselephantine sculptures in bronze and marble; he exhibited from 1904 until 1923 at the salons of the Société des Artistes Français.
