Venezia, Paolo Manuce, figlio di Aldus, 1554 Un volume. 10 x 15,5 cm. 216 foglie. Legatura coeva in piena pergamena con copertine, 3 legature. Legatura in buono stato (dorso un po' sgualcito, mancanze ai lacci). Una piccola bagnatura marginale su 20 foglie, per il resto ottime condizioni interne. Prima edizione aldina di questo importante testo di medicina. Oribasio (320-400) fu il medico dell'imperatore Giuliano l'Apostata. Fu il propagatore dei contributi di Galieno alla medicina. La Sinossi per Eustathius è un riassunto della sua opera principale, le Collectiones medicae (pubblicate in 70 volumi), dedicata al figlio Eustathius e indirizzata a coloro che dovevano viaggiare.
