Ed ora una selezione di opere straordinarie, su cartone spesso timbrato al retro L’ artistica, storico negozio di belle arti di via del Babuino a Roma negli anni 50 e 60. Un rarissimo repertorio di tavole che rappresenta un esperimento visivo e di contaminazione che dura pochi anni, dalla fine degli anni 50 al 1965, quasi esclusivamente pensati per il mercato francese, per riviste come Star Cine Cosmos e Le film du coer. Selezionati e creati da un artista ed editore geniale come Franco Bozzesi, che poi coinvolge anche autori come Ermanno Iaia e Franco Fiorenzi nella sua officina. Collage, raffinata carta fotografica da pellicola ritagliata e sagomata e ritoccata sopra con interventi di pittura a tempera e ulteriore sfumato applicato il tutto su robuste tavole di cartone. Non propriamente cineromanzo, ma una forma innovativa per profondità, prospettiva, invenzioni che riconduce il cinema di quegli anni quasi ad un unico grande melò. Opere uniche che nascono dai cineracconti degli anni ’40 che arrivano a un passo dal fotoromanzo, la stagione d' oro (con il balloon vero e proprio) comincia probabilmente con "Super cinema", alla fine del 1950 (prima uscita Il brigante Musolino) e l' apogeo è a metà del decennio: nascono e muoiono "Fotoromanzo gigante", "I grandi films-I capolavori dello schermo", "Amica film", "I vostri film-romanzo".La serie che vi presentiamo, rarissima, dall’arte di Franco Bozzesi cita sicuramente il Cineromanzo gigante pubblicato dalla Lanterna Magica, in realtà una emanazione delle produzioni De Laurentiis, come anche le produzioni Apollon Sono tra i cineromanzi di miglior qualità, che fanno largo uso anche di foto di scena, hanno un' autrice che firma i testi (Mara Baldeva), un ampio formato, ottima carta e a volte escono in contemporanea con i film (per La donna del fiume di Soldati addirittura prima), in sinergia con le produzioni della casa.Ma Franco Bozzesi va oltre, non usa in queste tavole il balloon, ma piuttosto sperimenta vignette con effetto sfumato ed incroci di collages e prospettive Opere uniche di un editore artista che decide di tentare una nuova strada in Francia per pochi anni gloriosi, incrociando anche la Nouvelle Vague di Jean Luc Godard.
