Another portrait from the series with identical signature at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Accession Number: 1983.1.42.1. Utagawa Kunishige is a late name adopted by the artist Yamaguchi Shigeharu, actif in Osaka.Kinginzuri is a fine method of printing gold or silver (and other metallic pigments) on a woodblock print ukiyo-e.
