Arrêt du Conseil d’État du Roi, qui nomme les Administrateurs & Employés qui doivent signer les Vingt mille nouvelles portions d’intérêts, créées par Arrêt du Conseil du 21 Septembre dernier. Su iniziativa di Calonne la Compagnia delle Indie era stata creata nel 1785, in accordo con il governo inglese. Provvista di un capitale di 20 milioni di lire questa società detiene il privilegio di commercio al di là del Capo di Buona Speranza. Il citato decreto del 21 Settembre conferma il monopolio. Con questo decreto sono nominati gli amministratori, che diventeranno ricchissimi: fra questi, in primis Pierre Bernier che si era recato a Londra nel 1784 per negoziare l’accordo con gli inglesi. On Calonne's initiative, the India Company was created in 1785, in agreement with the English government. Equipped with a capital of 20 million lire, this company holds the privilege of trading beyond the Cape of Good Hope. The aforementioned decree of 21 September confirms the monopoly. With this decree, the administrators were appointed, who would become very rich: among these, first and foremost Pierre Bernier who had gone to London in 1784 to negotiate the agreement with the English.
