Spectacular large view of Paris, drawn by Callot during his stay in Paris in 1628-1630 and engraved after his return to Nancy. Foreground of the Seine with a nautical party. On the left the Tower de Nesle, on the right the Petit Bourbon which hosted Callot and his friend and publisher Israel Henriet and further on the Louvre gallery. Lieure: «Pour les deux vues de Paris, les deux premiers etats sont les plus beaux et le plus recherchés.»
