Spectacular large view of Paris, drawn by Callot during his stay in Paris in 1628-1630 and engraved after his return to Nancy. In this engraving, Jacques Callot depicts a view of the capital centred on the Pont neuf. He shows the daily life of Parisians in the 17th century. Thus, the Seine has a central place in the supply of the city and its trade. This engraving is worn as a witness of the life in the XVIIth century.
