Carlo De Carli

Six Wooden Chairs (attr.) Height: 92 cm Width: 44 cm Depth: 53 cm Seat Height: 46 cm Wonderful set of six chairs attributed to the great designer Carlo De Carli of the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture. The chairs have a solid wood frame, very beautiful and original to the period. There are four supporting legs and they are punched, straight and hard. The ferrules are brass and are perfectly patinated. The seat is framed by two fairly thick wooden bars, with bolts securing them to the velvet. The seat and back are made of soft beige velvet, original to the period. The velvet is original, with no holes or tears. The backrest is small, high and narrow. The chairs are beautiful and are ideal for vintage and elegant dining rooms.
