Due pistole tascabili belghe a percussione, 1840 ca. Una Terzerol con canna liscia a cocca svitabile in calibro 11 mm, l'altra con canna rigata in acciaio di Damasco in calibro 11,5 mm. Le custodie delle serrature sono leggermente incise, una con linee di confine, l'altra con un motivo a volute. Un martello può essere ripiegato. Impugnature con scacchiera o scanalate. Das Flaggschiff der Linie, die "Lusitania" setzte gemeinsam mit seinem Schwesternschiff "Mauretania" neue Maßstäbe bei interkontinentalen Seereisen. - Beigegeben in der vorderen Beilagentasche Zeitungsartikel zum Untergang der Lusitania sowie ein Faltblatt Briefpapier aus der "SS Baltic" (White Star Linie) und ein zeitgenössisches Übersichtsblatt über die Schiffe der Cunard-Linie. - Wenige Bll. minimal braun- bzw. fingerfleckig, vorderes Innengelenk mit kl. Einriss. Insgesamt wohlerhalten. With coloured lithographed card as title and final page, as well as several illustrations, some in colour. Embossed leather-effect orig. card binding(signed "Fritz Eilers jun. Bielefeld") with gilt stamped company signet on front cover (somewhat rubbed, small compression in the binding, front cover with slight creases). Rare advertisement for the English shipping company "Cunard", which is still known today for its transatlantic connections. - Enclosed in the front insert pocket are newspaper articles on the sinking of the Lusitania as well as a leaflet of stationery from the "SS Baltic" (White Star Line) and a contemporary overview sheet on the ships of the Cunard Line. - A few pages minimally browned or fingerstained, front inner hinge with small tear. Der erste Bd. enthält die Suite der 30 in den Jahren 1812 und 1813 von Renouard in Auftrag gegebenen Illustrationen zu den Oeuvres de Molière, gestochen nach Moreau Le Jeune von Basq, Ribault, Roger, Simonet, Croutelle, de Ghendt, Girardet, Villerey und Delvaux, sowie ein weiteres, bei De Villiers fratres erschienenes Bl. Insgesamt in sauberem Zustand. Two albums with 56 illustrations of the works of Molière and P. Corneille. France, 19th century. Various techniques: etching and steel engraving among others. Mounted in two later brown linen cloths. - The first volume contains the suite of 30 illustrations commissioned by Renouard in 1812 and 1813 for the Oeuvres de Molière, engraved after Moreau Le Jeune by Basq, Ribault, Roger, Simonet, Croutelle, de Ghendt, Girardet, Villerey and Delvaux, as well as another sheet published by De Villiers fratres. The second volume contains 25 sheets mostly steel engravings probably published around 1840 and also illustrations a.o. after Moreau Le Jeune for the Oeuvres de Pierre Corneille. Among them a portrait drawn and engraved by Augustin de Saint-Aubin after a bust by Caffiery. - Partly slightly brownspotted. In the second vol. 2 fol. loosely inserted. Overall in clean condition.
