F. Reinhardt il Vecchio e M. Wetzel-Schubert, grafica espressionista tedesca (3 acqueforti, 12 litografie, , prima metà del XX secolo). Tre belle acqueforti con raffigurazioni della guerra, firmate e datate "Fz. Reinhardt 1915". Inoltre due litografie firmate dall'artista con scene di battaglia, con le scritte "Frauenraub" e "Kampf" (datate "28") sul verso. Ciascuna in passepartout con occhiello di sospensione. Dimensioni delle immagini rispettivamente 25 x 32 cm e 40 x 30 cm circa. Con dieci litografie espressive con motivi di morte e disperazione, firmate "M. Wetzel-Schubert", alcune datate (21-22). Dimensioni delle immagini da 22 x 15 cm a 50 x 39 cm circa. Franz Reinhardt (1881-1946) è stato un pittore monacense con una particolare predilezione per le scene mitologiche e religiose. Dopo essersi formato all'accademia (tra gli altri, con F. v. Stuck), aderì alla Secessione di Monaco. Oggi le sue opere si trovano, tra l'altro, nella Collezione di pittura dello Stato bavarese e nella Lenbachhaus. Marei Wetzel-Schubert (1890 - 1983) è stata una pittrice, grafica e scultrice polacca. Sie beschreibt die Route vom Edwardsee, Uganda, in Zentralafrika nach Bagamoyo, Tansania, an der Küste des Indischen Ozeans beschreibt. Bagamoyo war die erste Hauptstadt des kolonialen Tansania und diente gleichzeitig als deutsches Hauptquartier für Deutsch-Ostafrika und als Tor für Entdecker auf der Suche nach der Quelle des Nils. - In den Falzen teils mit kleinen Einrissen sowie vereinzelt mit minimalen Fehlstellen ohne Bildverlust. Papierbedingt leicht gebräunt. Insgesamt schön erhalten. Africa - Map in colour lithograph on paper. Folded several times. - Extremely rare map by the Italian cartographer Scipione Losio. It describes the route from Lake Edward, Uganda, in Central Africa to Bagamoyo, Tanzania, on the coast of the Indian Ocean. Bagamoyo was the first capital of colonial Tanzania and also served as the German headquarters for German East Africa and as a gateway for explorers in search of the source of the Nile. - Some small tears in the folds and occasional minimal losses without loss of image.
