Weder in Bibliographien, noch in Bibliotheken nachweisbare und wohl einzige Ausgabe eines vermutlich umfangreicher geplanten Werkes, das nicht vollendet wurde. Der Wortlaut des Titels und die Rolle des Verlegers C.F. Stuckart (im letzten Teil auch als Herausgeber genannt) im niederschlesischen Schweidnitz deutet eine editorische Nähe zu dem von Endler und Scholz herausgegebenen Werkes "Der Naturfreund oder Beiträge zur Schlesischen Naturgeschichte" an, da Stuckart in den späten 1820er Jahren eine Neuausgabe dieses meist nur kurz "Schlesischer Naturfreund" genannten Werkes verantwortete, nachdem dieses zuvor in Breslau publiziert wurde. Er veränderte den Titel zu "Der Naturfreund oder naturgeschichtliche Unterhaltungen von Endler und Scholz neu aufgelegt und fortgesetzt von C. F. Stuckart." - Im Gegensatz zum auf die Lokalfauna und -flora fokussierten "Schlesischen Naturfreund" zeigt vorliegendes Werk vorwiegend ausländische und exotische Tiere, darunter Raubkatzen, Füchse, Ameisenbären, Schuppentiere, Gürteltiere, Bären, Beuteltiere, Papageien, Wasser- u. The wording of the title and the role of the publisher C.F. Stuckart (also named as editor in the last part) in Schweidnitz in Lower Silesia indicate an editorial proximity to the work "Der Naturfreund oder Beiträge zur Schlesischen Naturgeschichte" published by Endler and Scholz, as Stuckart was responsible for a new edition of this work, usually called "Schlesischer Naturfreund", in the late 1820s, after it had previously been published in Breslau. He changed the title to "Der Naturfreund oder naturgeschichtliche Unterhaltungen von Endler und Scholz neu aufgelegt und fortgesetzt von C.F. Stuckart". - In contrast to "Schlesischer Naturfreund", which focussed on local fauna and flora, this work mainly shows foreign and exotic animals, including cats of prey, foxes, anteaters, pangolins, armadillos, bears, marsupials, parrots, waterfowl and birds of prey, snakes, etc. - Contains: First section (mammals). Alt (19)92", leggermente sfregata e con lievi danni ai margini, dimensioni circa 87 x 64 cm. Informazioni sull'artista: pittore, grafico, illustratore, scultore e pittore di porcellana tedesco (nato nel 1940 a Wernigerode/Harz), si trasferisce a Berlino Ovest nel 1951, 1956-58 apprendistato come vetrinista e pittore di manifesti, studi 1959-60 alla Meisterschule für Kunsthandwerk di Berlino, 1960-66 alla Hochschule der Bildenden Künste (HBK) di Berlino con Karl Hartung, Bernhard Heiliger e Ulrich Knispel, 1964-66 allievo del Prof. Hermann Bachmann, dal 1966 in poi alla HBK di Berlino con Karl Hartung, Bernhard Heiliger e Ulrich Knispel. Hermann Bachmann, libero professionista dal 1966, lavora come assistente di scenografia a Francoforte sul Meno e a Treviri, 1967 Premio Franz Roh, dal 1969 membro dell'associazione di artisti "Edition Außenkunst", intraprende numerosi viaggi di studio, tra cui negli Stati Uniti, in Canada, in Groenlandia, in Finlandia, in Islanda, a Parigi e nei mari del Sud, 1974-77 soggiorno in Italia, dal 1969 circa anche scultore, lavora tra l'altro per la manifattura di porcellana Rosenthal/Selb, vive a Hamm/Norddinker, fonte: AKL e Internet.
