Je verso mit Beschriftungen in Bleistift in ungarischer Sprache. Drei Aufnahmen gedruckt auf Postkarten mit typographischem Vermerk "Levelezö-Lap." - Sammlung von Aufnahmen, die während des Baus des Eisenbahnnetzes des Gebiets Zakarpattia (heutige Ukraine) zwischen Nagyberezna und Uzsok (heute: Velikij Bereznij - Uzhok) aufgenommen wurden. Dieser 40 km lange Teil des Netzes wurde 1905 fertiggestellt. Die Strecke wurde hauptsächlich für militärische und nicht für kommerzielle Zwecke gebaut, wie die anderen Eisenbahnstrecken zwischen Ungarn und Galizien. Aufgrund der Hochgebirgslage gibt es auf der Strecke mehrere Brücken, Viadukte und Tunnel. Die Aufnahmen zeigen die Arbeiten in Csorbadomb, in der Nähe von Uzsok: die Fähre und die Förderwagen auf dem provisorischen Holzviadukt, die Einfahrt und den Bau des Tunnels in Uzsok. Enthält ein Bild der Architekten und Investoren des Projekts, die am Eingang des Tunnels auf einer Draisine posieren. - Fleckig, leicht verblasst. Einige Kanten gebrochen, eine eingerissen. Three photographs printed on postcards with typographical note "Levelezö-Lap." - Collection of photographs taken during the construction of the railway network of the Zakarpattia region (present-day Ukraine) between Nagyberezna and Uzsok (today: Velikij Bereznij - Uzhok). This 40 km long part of the network was completed in 1905. The line was built mainly for military and not for commercial purposes, like the other railway lines between Hungary and Galicia. Due to the high mountain location, there are several bridges, viaducts and tunnels on the line. The photographs show the works in Csorbadomb, near Uzsok: the ferry and the mine cars on the temporary wooden viaduct, the entrance and the construction of the tunnel in Uzsok. Contains a photograph of the architects and investors of the project posing on a trolley at the entrance to the tunnel. - Stained, slightly faded. Some edges broken, one torn. In der Karte mit den lateinischen Namen der Regionen bezeichnet, zudem mit der Inschrift auf Belgisch unten mittig und Bezeichnungen von fremder Hand in Bleistift. - Ränder ganz leicht unregelmäßig beschnitten und mit Läsuren. Vereinzelt leichte Braunflecken. Etwas lager- und griffspurig. Insgesamt gut. Sehr farbfrisches Aquarell, in Stilistik und Motivik angelehnt an das Mittelalter. Unsere Zeichnung ist nach einer mittelalterlichen Weltkarte Belgiens entstanden, auf der mittig 4 männlichen Figuren in Kostümen platziert sind. Am linken und oberen Randbereich der Darstellung weist unsere Zeichnung noch den Charakter eines Entwurfs auf, die Kolorierung wurde hier nicht ausgeführt. Diese muss insbesondere bei den 4 Figuren nachträglich im 20. Jhd. erfolgt sein, eklärt sich doch nur so die extreme Farbbrillanz und Leuchkraft der Farben der Kostüme. Watercolour, gouache and pencil on wove paper. Inscribed in the map with the Latin names of the regions, also with inscription in Belgisch at lower centre as well as those in pencil by another hand. - Margins very slightly irregularly cut and with some defects. Occasional light brown stains. Some storage and handling marks. Good overall. Very fresh watercolour, in style and motif reminiscent of the Middle Ages. - Our drawing is based on a medieval world map of Belgium on which 4 male figures in costumes are placed in the centre. On the left and at the top of the depiction the character of a sketch is still preserved as the colouring was not executed there. This must have been done later in the 20th century, especially for the 4 figures as this is the only way to explain the extreme brilliance and luminosity of the colours of the costumes. France - Collection of two large format aquatint etchings with views of Paris. Each on vélin with watermark "1801 J Whatman". Each mounted in spots under passepartout. - 3rd state (of 3) with the aquatint revision. Inscribed on the left below the image: "Drawn & Etch'd by Tho.s Girtin", on the lower right: "Aquatinted by F. C. Lewis". In the publisher's address with the date. - Contains: see above. From the volume "A selection of twenty of the most picturesque views in Paris, and its environs" published by Girtin in London in 1803. - Light margins under the passepartout. Sheet Pont Neuf with recto not visible folding in upper white margin. Very few spots with brownish stains. Overall in good condition.
