Set di dischi "Charlie Parker with Strings" firmato da Charlie Parker della Mercury Records Un set di dischi di Charlie Parker with Strings della Mercury Records (C509), estremamente desiderabile, firmato e iscritto all'interno della copertina in grassetto a biro blu: "To Joe, Regards, Charlie Parker". Il set comprende tre dischi in vinile da 10 pollici a 78 giri contenenti le seguenti canzoni: "Just Friends" / "Everything Happens to Me" (C-101), "East of the Sun" / "You Came Along from Out of Nowhere" (C-109) e "I'm in the Mood for Love" / "They Can't Take That Away From Me" (C-109). La custodia firmata con il disegno di copertina di David Stone Martin è un'edizione originale di C-509, la seconda pubblicazione delle sessioni "with Strings" di Bird realizzate per le etichette di Norman Granz tra il 1947 e il 1952. Queste sessioni con una piccola orchestra d'archi e sezioni ritmiche furono la realizzazione del sogno a lungo coltivato da Parker di registrare con gli archi. Alla fine divennero i dischi più venduti della sua vita. In condizioni da molto buone a buone, con una piega/crepa all'angolo inferiore sinistro della copertina.
