dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan, Light, brown-lacquered body with black horizontal bands (missing parts). Brown-lacquered interior complete with Futon and laces. This type of Jingasa was used by the Ashigaru Troops (foot soldiers). diameter 31.9 cm.
