A MIDNIGHT BLUE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL VASE WITH A PIGEON Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912) The baluster body rising from a short foot to a broad shoulder with waisted neck and everted rim, one side decorated in polychrome enamels with a pigeon perched on a blossoming cherry tree above grass blades and flowers reserved against a midnight blue ground. HEIGHT 15.2 cm WEIGHT 171.5 g Condition: Buone condizioni con lievi usure e irregolarità di fabbricazione, pitting previsto, alcune piccole incisioni e poche minuscole perdite. Provenienza: Collezione privata viennese, acquistato nel commercio locale prima del 2000.
