Une très belle montre de plongée en acier, lunette tournante graduée, cadran noir "Swiss t<25", aiguilles et index cerclés lumineux légèrement patinés, trotteuse centrale, dateur à 3 h. Fond et couronne vissés, mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique. Bracelet Oyster acier à boucle déployante. Il est rare de rencontrer des 1680 en si belle condition. Avec ses chanfreins encore bien visibles, notre montre est en excellent état général et fonctionnante, le cadran sans défaut, avec une pastille "lumineuse" postérieure sur l'insert. La référence 1680, produite une dizaine d'année dans la période 1970 à 1980 est la première submariner avec la fonction date. Pour la première fois sur une Submariner, une lentille cyclope est collée sur le verre acrylique à l’extérieur du verre pour faciliter la lecture de la date. Le charme des index "peints" du cadran contribue pleinement à donner à cette référence son aura auprès des amateurs de vintage.
