Lucian Freud Carta autógrafa firmada Pintor británico (1922-2011) conocido por sus retratos y pinturas de figuras de gran intensidad psicológica y densos empastes. Rarísimo ALS a lápiz, una página, 8,5 x 8,25, sin fecha, pero hacia enero de 1984. Carta a Angela Dyer, íntegra: "Lawrence Gowing me envió una copia de la carta que le enviaste. No sé si ha recibido alguna carta sobre el libro, pero yo desde luego no. Aunque soy bastante inmune a los insultos y los elogios, al leer lo que escribiste tuve una sensación de exitement [sic] que sólo he sentido al encontrarme de repente con alguien que me gusta mucho. Así que, justo en medio de pintar la barriga de mi madre esta mañana, volví a leerlo". En buen estado. Acompañada de una carta del artista Lawrence Gowing, fechada el 24 de enero de 1984, en la que agradece a Dyer su "totalmente gratificante y transportadora carta de admirador", y señala que "se la envió directamente a Lucian... Puede que ya tengas noticias suyas". También incluye el sobre de envío original de la carta de Gowing, quien, en 1982, publicó el libro de arte Lucian Freud, que examina el desarrollo de las pinturas y dibujos de Freud, discute sus influencias artísticas y analiza su estilo de retrato.
